Schmidt & Schmidt provides extracts from the commercial register of Denmark with a translation and an apostille.
The commercial register of Denmark is administered by the Danish Business Authority (Erhvervsstyrelsen), a part of the Danish Ministry of Business and Growth (Erhvervs- og Vækstministeriet).
According to the Danish Companies Act, all types of businesses in Denmark are required to submit their corporate data and accounting statements in the public register. However, the amount of information depends on the type of business: for instance, limited liability companies submit more detailed information, such as financial reports, information about key management, etc.
The Danish Business Authority is not responsible for the accuracy of submitted information. This is a full responsibility of companies themselves. At the same time, providing misleading information is a criminal offense.
The Danish Business Register was created in 2012 and is managed in an electronic form.

Apostille for extracts from commercial register of Denmark
Denmark acceded to the The Hague Convention Abolishing the Requirement of Legalization for Foreign Public Documents on 30 October 2006.
Therefore, the documents issued in Denmark are subject to a simplified apostilling procedure, thus the documents gain full legal value in Convention member states after notarised translation.
Apostilling usually takes about two weeks.
In addition, you can order notarised translation from the Danish language.
