Currently there is no uniform official list of all products that are subject to certification, as the obligation for certification is currently regulated by a series of standards. This includes:

• Technical Regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union (TR EAEU)
• Technical Regulations of Russian Federation (TR RF)
• GOST standards for those products not regulated within the EAEU or if rules have not come into effect yet

According to federal law № 184 "On Technical Regulation", the Technical Regulation is a document intended to set the properties of products or services as well as the processes and methods of manufacturing procedures relating thereto.

Machinery and equipment

TR СU 004/2011 On safety of low-voltage equipment

The Technical Regulation describes the safety requirements for low-voltage devices and applies to all devices intended for alternating current of 50 to 1000 volts and direct current of 75 to 1500 volts. Products requiring certification include, for example, electrical household appliances, cables, electrical distributors, etc.
